Isobar Boston’s Key Hires to “Propel Agency into Next Phase of Growth”

Posted December 15, 2016

Global digital agency, Isobar is focusing on its Boston office by adding three key hires.

“Isobar’s new focus on the Boston office speaks to its commitment to talent, creativity and storytelling,” a press release, announcing the hires, stated. “Each new team addition brings a unique skill set that, when put together, will propel the agency into the next phase of growth.”

Kenny Rennard joined as an Executive Creative Director and Steve Coy and Jason Szatmary have both joined as vice presidents.  All three will report to co-CEOs Geoff Cubitt and Jeff Maling.

“Isobar has grown and evolved over the past year and Boston has become a real priority for us,” said Jeff Maling, in the release.  “We see a lot of growth potential in the region and really wanted to tap into the creative community. These key new hires will allow us to stay on this path of innovation and help us continue to push the limits of creativity and technology.”

Speaking to Isobar’s commitment to creativity, Rennard will evolve the way Isobar conceptualizes and delivers big ideas and campaign work. He will work across all offices to ensure that storytelling is at the center of all work produced and projects are emotionally driven.

“The opportunity to lead the charge on Isobar’s movement to put an even greater emphasis on creative was one I could not pass up,” said Kenny Rennard, Executive Creative Director, Isobar. “I’m also looking forward to having the chance to focus a bit more on storytelling and campaign work and being able to weave one cohesive story throughout everything we do.  That coupled with Isobar’s ability to be so innovative and progressive in both technologies and applications was what truly what got my attention.”

Rennard spent over 10 years at Digitas, where he led accounts such as Bank of America, GM and Harley Davidson, overseeing a team of nearly 40 creatives.

Recently, Isobar also brought on SapientNtiro’s Director of Client Services, Steve Coy and Group Account Director, Jason Szatmary, as vice presidents.

Coy is responsible for managing a number of business across the Boston and New York offices, including Hannaford and Sotheby’s. In addition, he will help lead new practice and service development, with a heavy focus on new business while Szatmary will work on new opportunities and with solving Isobar’s client’s most complex problems.
