22squared Continues It’s Focus to Expand Female Leadership and Talent

Independent agency, 22squared, has appointed team member Cheryl Davis as Chief Financial officer effective immediately, according to a press release.

Davis, who will report directly to CEO Richard Ward, will be the first woman to hold this position. She succeeds current CFO Tom Fuller, who recently retired after 30 years in the industry and 25 years with the agency.

22squared proudly boasts 68% total female employees, 47% female creatives, 80% female SVP’s and 29% female executive leadership which reflect the agency culture to attract and cultivates top, diverse talent.

This promotion continues the agency’s mission to expand their female leadership and talent across their Atlanta and Tampa offices, with key promotions and hires.

Additionally, 22squared has added talent to their Creative Department, hiring Katie Davis as art director from Wray Ward in Charlotte. Kristin Wellmer joins as senior copywriter, moving from Detroit where she held creative positions at Doner and Team Detroit. Hannah Heller joins as junior copywriter, a recent graduate of The Creative Circus in Atlanta.

The agency also appoints new Senior Vice Presidents every quarter. The past two quarters saw six newly elected SVPs, all of whom were female: Lindsay Baldwin, svp, director of video and
broadcast; Christy Cross, svp, director of business development; Genna Franconi, svp, team account director; Saya Heathco, svp, director of strategy; Meg Jokinen, svp, group account director and Ashley Keetle, svp, account director.
