DesignStudio Announces Three Key Hires in San Francisco Office

Posted January 11, 2017

DesignStudio, the company responsible for most recently refreshing Twitter’s online user experience, is expanding it’s San Francisco office by adding three new hires to the team. The company has named Justin Rands as Design Technologist, Gabrielle Matte as a Designer, and Caroline Tomlinson as Project Manager.

Rands will be responsible for designing in code to help shape how the brand is experienced seamlessly across devices and continues to push thinking for mobile applications and emerging platforms.

Matte, who was most recently a designer and illustrator at art and technology agencies Iregular and ValléeDuhamel, will be in charge of designing expressions that engage and reflect the uniqueness of our clients brands across multiple touchpoints.

Tomlinson comes to DesignStudio from Lippincott NY, where she served on the Experience Innovation team. She will act as project manager to ensure client expectations are met and opportunities pursued.

“Each bring a unique combination of experiences and skills that deepens our capability to build our clients business across sectors and mediums to create engaging and connected experiences,” John Creson, Principal of DesignStudio SF told DIVERGE.

Tomlinson will report to Julia Capeloto, Senior Program Manager while Rands and Matte will report to Creative Director, Peter McClelland.

We strive and value diverse perspectives, ethnicities, and experiences,” Creson explained. “As we continue to grow and build our teams across London and San Francisco we will continue to seek opportunities to reflect the colorful spectrum of creativity.”
