GroupM, WPP’s media investment arm, has tapped Jim Meyer as the Chief Marketing Officer for North America.
He will responsible for working beside GroupM’s agencies to promote group benefits with each agency’s unique service offerings. He will also help introduce the [m]PLATFORM technologies and service organizations the market, which helps clients apply audience insights throughout their campaigns to reach their customers and achieve their marketing goals.
Meyer, who will report to GroupM North America’s CEO, Brian Lesser, will be the first CMO in North America.

He has over 30 years of experience in advertising including serving as the first North American CMO at Ipsos and the CEO and co-founder of Mindset Media, which is a strategic partner to WPP and GroupM prior Meebo and Google Acquisition.
