Myra Nussbaum Named SVP, Group Creative Director at DDB Chicago

DDB Chicago has appointed Myra Nussbaum the Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director at DDB Chicago to oversee creative for brands under the Mars Wrigley Confectionery portfolio. Nussbaum, who will report to John Maxham, DDB Chicago’s chief creative officer, has over 15 years of industry experience with an emphasasis on brand advertising, according to a press release.

Previously, she was senior VP, Creative doctor at FCB Chicago, where she led a team of more than 20 creatives and worked on numerous accounts including Clorox, Aramark, BMO Harris Bank, Chicago Public Library, Choose Chicago, Valspar, and KFC, where she helped with the biggest product launch in the brand’s history.

“Known for her ability to tap into pop culture and leverage social insights, Nussbaum has spent her career changing behaviors by creating cultures, in turn designing work that invokes brand loyalty,” the release explained. “She received top honors at Cannes, D&AD, and The One Show for Valspar’s “Color for All” project, which helped colorblind people see color for the first time. Additionally her work for Oreo and Radio Flyer has gained industry recognition.”
