Ralph Lauren Taps Vice Media’s Jonathan Bottomley as Chief Marketing Officer

New York-based fashion retailer, Ralph Lauren Corp., has hired Jonathan Bottomley as its first Chief Marketing Officer, effective April 3rd. Bottomley, who was formerly the chief strategy officer at Vice Media, will be responsible for helping the company create a more cohesive brand voice and marketing strategy.

“As we write our next chapter, we continue to add exceptionally strong leaders with passion, energy and talent to lead our company into the future,” said Ralph Lauren, who serves as executive chairman and chief creative officer of the company he founded, in a statement.

The company also named Tom Mendenhall as the brand president for Men’s Polo, Purple Label and Double RL. Mendenhall joins from Tom Ford International where he was the chief operating officer.
