Cohn & Wolfe Appoints Susan Pagano to Lead Global Marketing and Communications

Cohn & Wolfe, a global communications agency, has hired Susan Pagano as Executive Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications, according to a Jan 26 announcement.

She joins Cohn & Wolfe from DeVries Global, where she was Director, Business Development. Formerly, she was also the  Senior Vice President and Senior Partner, Business Development at FleishmanHillard and  Senior Vice President, Marketing and New Business at GCI Group, which has since merged into Cohn & Wolfe Group.

“Susan is an admired talent in the industry and among those of us who have worked with her in the past, and I’m confident she will accomplish great things for Cohn & Wolfe,” said Donna Imperato, Global CEO, Cohn & Wolfe, in a release. “Jill has worked with me for most of the past 25 years and has always added tremendous value to me personally and to the companies at which she worked. I respect Jill’s decision to move on to a new adventure and wish her all the best for a successful change in her career.”

She will be response for the company’s external and internal communications strategy, reputation management and marketing.

Pagano, who will report to Worldwide President Jim Joseph, will be taking over for Jill Tannenbaum, who is stepping down as CMO after nine years at the agency to make a career change, the release explained.

She will be based in the agency’s New York headquarters.
