BBC Worldwide Hires Pottermore’s Anna Rafferty As Director of Digital Marketing

Anna Rafferty has been appointed to head digital marketing at BBC’s international and commercial arm, effective in 2017. In the new role, she will set the digital plans and marketing launches for major brands, including BBC Brit, BBC Earth and BBC First, as well as titles such as Top Gear and Doctor Who, according to an announcement.

Previous experience includes a position at Penguin Digital as managing director and Pottermore’s director of product, creative and content. Pottermore, the digital publishing, e-commerce, entertainment and news company from J.K. Rowling, is the global digital publisher of Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World.
