HAVAS New York Hires Agency’s First Chief Performance Marketing Officer

Havas New York has just expanded its C-suite with the appointment of Jon Dupuis as the agency’s first Chief Performance Marketing Officer and Managing Director, according to a press release.

Dupuis will be in charge of  scaling and optimizing the agency’s expanding performance marketing offering for clients within the New York group including Havas Creative, Havas Media, Cognitive, and digital and customer experience agency Helia.

As part of the senior leadership team, Dupuis has also been named a managing director at the agency. He joins Havas from Publicis Groupe’s DigitasLBi, where he served as EVP, marketing, leading the agency’s American Express business in North America, across brand, acquisition and loyalty.

Dupuis will sit on the Havas New York executive leadership team, and report into the agency’s CEO, Laura Maness.

“Jon is a hybrid marketer with a deep understanding of creative, digital, data and media, and a proven track record for leading marketers through transformative growth and organisational change,” said Maness. “His strengths are a great match for Havas, as we continue to break new ground in creativity using the tools of modern marketing.”

Dupuis joins Havas from DigitasLBi, where he has served as senior vice president, marketing for the past six and a half years, where he led the agency’s American Express account and also helped the agency build a relationship with Under Armour, for which it provides performance media agency of record duties, the release explained.
