McCann Worldgroup Taps 4A’s Singleton Beato as Chief Diversity and Engagement Officer

McCann Worldgroup has hired Singleton Beato as the new global role of Chief Diversity & Engagement Officer to support McCann’s continuing mission to drive diversity programs around the world for the agency, its employees and its clients.

“McCann has always been a strong supporter of diversity and inclusion,” Beato told DIVERGE. “This is an irresistible opportunity to work with McCann leadership around the world to help ensure that the agency and its clients benefit from the amazing breadth of local and regional multicultural talent. “

Prior to this, Beato was at the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s), where she held the position of Executive VP, Diversity Strategy and Talent Development.

“We continue to work to ensure that McCann is a meritocracy built on a diverse workplace encompassing all of our employees,” said Harris Diamond, Chairman and CEO of McCann Worldgroup, in a statement. “Diversity programs are key in enabling us to take advantage of a wide talent base that truly reflects the dynamics of today’s multicultural world and that impacts the work we create for our clients.”

Beato has more than 20 years of experience as an accomplished human resources leader in driving people and culture initiatives across a wide range of industries, including advertising.

She will be based in the New York office.
