“I’m here until this film finally changes the world,” Director K. Rocco Shields told DIVERGE.
In November, Shields self released an anti-bullying movie “Love is All You Need,” which is essentially a forbidden love story which aims to start a dialogue about the nature of hate and prejudice and “ultimately what makes us most human, love.”
To share personal stories and answer questions, LIAYN cast members Briana Evigan, Blake Cooper Griffin – Actor, Katherine LaNasa and director K. Rocco Shields are hosting an exclusive Facebook Live Q&A on January 7th.
“Love is all you need? causes a conversation…and from these discussions – comes eye opening change,” Shields told DIVERGE. “Tune into our Facebook live to hear more about the lives changed and how you can use it as a tool to open eyes yourself. Together we can change the world.”
The movie, which can be downloaded on iTunes or preordered on DVD, was recently shown in a self-funded 20-city MovieMent tour, in tribute to true events depicted in the film, with all proceeds going to the non-profits: including The Matthew Shepard Foundation, Tyler Clementi Foundation, Equality House, Planting Peace, Columbia City Ballet, Center on Halsted, and others across the country.
