The world seems very different to many people this week following the election of Donald Trump and Mike Pence who will be sworn in as President and Vice President from January 20, 2017.
One of the groups wondering what may be coming next is the LGBT community.
There are more than 15 million LGBT people in the USA – and more than 89 million LGBT Allies who support their LGBT work colleagues.
Out Now – a member of The Economist’s LGBT Advisory Panel – has launched a short six questions survey to test the waters.
The survey is for anyone at all to fill in and takes around four minutes to complete.
The topics covered are designed to see what respondents think the election of Trump/Pence may mean for LGBT inclusion in the USA generally and also specifically in the workplace.
Chief Executive Officer of Out Now, Ian Johnson, asked that as many people as possible – from the USA and other countries – share their thoughts.
“This Out Now survey will take less than five minutes and will help us understand what people like you think the election of Donald Trump and Mike Pence could mean to LGBT people and their workplace allies,” Johnson says. “We are testing what impacts could be expected both in the workplace and in society generally. There is also an opportunity to leave comments to share your thoughts.”
The survey is online now at http://lgbtelection.questionpro.com and your responses will not be linked to any personally identifying information.
Findings will be reported in coming days here at DIVERGE.
