Google is ending 2016 on an optimistic note in its Year in Search video for 2016. The video montage covers everything from Syria to Brexit to the election of Donald Trump but the message in the video is optimistic. Google encourages everyone with the concluding statement “Love is out there. Search on.”
The company also announced its top searches globally in 2016, which seems to be a great reflection of what caught peoples attention this year.
The trends site also lets you see breakout searches by each month and what topped the charts by individual countries.
