The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and CBS are partnering to conduct a special interview with FLOTUS Michelle Obama at the White House, according to a press release by the White House.
The new special ‘First Lady Michelle Obama Says Farewell to the White House- An Oprah Winfrey Special’ will broadcast on CBS on Monday, Dec. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and a rerun will air on OWN on Wednesday, Dec. 21 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT).
According to the release, the special, which will be taped later this month will feature First Lady Michelle Obama for her final one-on-one interview inside the White House.
“During this exclusive interview in the First Family’s private residence, topics will include details about life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and her eight years as First Lady of the United States, the legacy she’ll leave behind and her plans for the future,” the release explained.
The show will be produced by OWN Studios, with Tara Montgomery and Oprah Winfrey as executive producers.
