Creative PR Agency Press Kitchen Opens Office in NYC

Posted February 1, 2017

LA-based boutique public relations agency Press Kitchen is expanding to the East Coast with the opening of a New York office in Manhattan’s Flatiron district, according to a statement

“Press Kitchen’s growth has allowed us to hire more people and diversify our business into new sectors including virtual reality and tech,” Virginia Scripps, President told DIVERGE. “Being a bicoastal company allows us to attract more east coast clients and grow our contacts in the invaluable New York marketplace.”

Spearheading the launch of the East Coast division is Press Kitchen Vice President Jenna Wigman, who will relocate to New York, but continue to collaborate with the entire Press Kitchen team to service both existing and newly signed clients.

Massachusetts native, Wigman’s co-leadership of the bicoastal Press Kitchen team gives Press Kitchen’s clients a distinct competitive edge.

*With a New York office, we will be closer to the media outlets whom we are reaching out to with the stories we want to promote. We plan to deepen our contacts, which will in tern bring better results for our campaigns and attract new clients,” Scripps explained.

Press Kitchen, launched in July 2000, has experienced continuous growth, recently expanding into the tech sector with a number of award-winning VR and AR clients. Clients on their roster include Sonic Union, Start PR, Sugar Film, Reel FX and more.

As for making diversity a priority throughout expansion, Scripps told DIVERGE, “Press Kitchen’s staff is 25% minority and we plan to maintain that ratio as we grow.”
