Advertising agency Fallon opened its doors in New York City today, expanding its geographic footprint, the company announced. Fallon New York will operate as a specialized creative shop initially focused on beauty, fashion and luxury brands.
It recently acquired AR New York’s beauty category expertise, specialized talent, and roster of clients, including its largest, Revlon.
“John King is ‘all in’ on Fallon, and he will create the kind of culture that will allow creativity to flourish,” said Fallon CEO Mike Buchner, in a statement.
King, who was previously CMO of Fallon in Minneapolis, will lead the New York office as president, effective immediately.
“The people working in our New York office know the codes of beauty and iconic luxury, while we know irrational creativity,” King told DIVERGE. “We are thrilled to be planting the Fallon flag in New York City. Having a New York office give us a huge advantage recruiting talent to the Fallon brand.”
David Israel, formerly of AR, will continue as executive creative director of the New York office, working with Fallon’s chief creative officer, Jeff Kling. “I love Fallon New York developing from a beauty background. Only beauty can save our uglied world. I harbor tremendous enthusiasm for what we can do,” said Kling.
Fallon New York will be located in New York City’s SoHo at 375 Hudson.
