New York based digital agency, Firstborn has been named the digital AOR for Tauck, a global company focused in high-end personalized travel. The agency also won another big client account. Firstborn has been named “lead digital agency” for Puritan’s Pride, the leading global online vitamin retailer — and part of the Nature’s Bounty Company, for whom Firstborn has been working on projects with for the past year.
“Tauck is one of the most well-respected and longstanding brands in its category,” explains Dan LaCivita, CEO of Firstborn. “Exploration, experience and unmatched customer service are all rooted deep in Tauck’s history. We’ll be translating these same values through the digital experience we create, bringing to life a truly premier online destination that will carry their brand, and customers, well into the future.”’
Firstborn is the first lead digital agency for the 92-year-old company, following a full review consisting of 10 agencies. The agency will begin their work by working on a complete redesign of Tauck’s dotcom presence that will bring the same transformative and intuitive experience it offers guests offline, to a premier destination online.
Targeted towards repeat and first-time guests, the site will reflect Tauck’s key competitive differentiator, which is the service it provides to customers before, during and post-travel. After the re-launch, Firstborn will start working with Tauck on various product innovations focused on enhancing the curated travel experience.
Firstborn has tapped Isobar to handle the Tauck’s backend integration. Firstborn and Isobar announced a strategic partnership earlier this month.
For Nature’s Bounty Company’s Puritan’s Pride, a global online vitamin retailer, the agency will work on a complete re-launch of its online consumer presence, responsible for redesigning the whole e-commerce experience and helping to redefine the way customers interact with the brand through personalized digital offerings at every touch point.
“We’ve been working closely with the Nature’s Bounty Company across many of their brands as they continue to evolve and expand their digital footprint,” LaCivita added. “Puritan’s Pride is particularly exciting for us as it represents such a huge opportunity to help a vitamin category leader provide consumers with a more dynamic experience and offer new, innovative customer engagement strategies.”
