Google has named Capitol Hill veteran Laura Marquez as head of Latino engagement in a newly created position, according to PR Week.
Marquez previously held a string of public-sector roles in the federal government, including senior adviser at the Small Business Administration, White House liaison for the Department of the Interior, and director of outreach and recruitment in the White House Presidential Personnel Office, according to PR Week.
She is also the co-chair and founding member of Latinos44, an organization of Latino alums of the Obama administration,
